Shoreline Flight Academy — 8-Week Aviation & Flight Simulation Course

Explore. Learn. Soar.

The Shoreline Flight Academy is an 8-week immersive aviation program designed for curious young aviators ages 10 and up. Led by Sarah Szakovits — an Airline Transport Pilot with 13 years of flying experience — students get hands-on time in a real flight simulator while learning the foundational skills every pilot needs.

Each week, students explore a different facet of aviation: from weather and airspace to air traffic control, cockpit systems, and flight planning. By the end of the course, every aviator earns ground school logbook hours signed off by certified flight instructors — a real, tangible first step toward a future pilot’s license.

Classes are kept intentionally small (4–6 students) so every aviator gets meaningful time at the controls. No experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to soar.
