Explore. Learn. Soar.
The Shoreline Flight Academy is an 8-week introductory aviation program designed for curious young aviators ages 10–14. Led by Sarah Szakovits — an Airline Transport Pilot with 13 years of flying experience — students get hands-on time in a real flight simulator while learning the foundational skills every pilot needs.
Each week, students explore a different facet of aviation: from weather and airspace to air traffic control, cockpit systems, and flight planning. This is an introductory course — a fun, welcoming first look at what it takes to fly, with no experience required.
Classes are kept intentionally small and personalized so every aviator gets meaningful time at the controls. Just bring curiosity and a willingness to soar.
Students will get time in our flight simulator to practice using a yoke and real controls, build confidence, and get a real feel for takeoffs and landings.
Perfect for beginners — no experience needed.
