Build Lab — Architecture & Design Studio

A hands-on construction & design experience for young builders.

Build Lab is where blueprints become real. In this year-long, hands-on course, students step into the roles of architect, designer, and builder — learning how to take an idea from paper to physical form. They’ll draw floor plans, pick up real tools, and construct detailed models using wood, Styrofoam, and modeling supplies. Along the way, they’ll develop spatial reasoning, measurement skills, and the confidence that comes from making something with their own hands.

This isn’t a craft class. Students use X-Acto knives, drills, and hammers alongside their instructor, learning precision, safety, and the kind of problem-solving that only comes from building something that has to actually stand up.
